Sherrard Roe Voigt & Harbison, PLC is pleased to announce that attorney Andrée S. Blumstein has returned to her private practice at the firm on May 6, 2024.
For the past decade, Ms. Blumstein served as the Solicitor General for the State of Tennessee. Within her role, she led and supervised Tennessee’s appellate litigation in state and federal courts, oversaw the preparation of Attorney General Opinions issued by the office, and generally provided support and advice for the work of the attorney general.
“We are thrilled to announce the return of Andrée Blumstein to our firm,” said member Bill Harbison. “We are especially glad for her to continue her appellate practice, at which she excelled when she was a partner here and before her time as the Tennessee Solicitor General. On a personal note, Andrée and I started practicing within a year of each other in the early 1980s, and we have been colleagues and the closest of friends from the beginning. I am so glad to have her coming back home where we can continue our work together.”
Ms. Blumstein became a partner at Sherrard Roe Voigt & Harbison in 1993. Her practice focused on antitrust, health law, and state and local tax. Above all, she distinguished herself as a preeminent appellate lawyer in the state of Tennessee.
