February 23, 2026 | Aimee Moore
Sherrard Roe is delighted to announce that member Ryan Holt will be inducted into the Nashville Bar Foundation’s Fellows Program on Saturday, February 28, 2026. The 2026 class of Fellows includes 25 honorees recognized for their longstanding commitment to public and community service.
Ryan Holt practices complex commercial litigation. Among other high-stakes business disputes, he has recently litigated covenants not to compete and trade secrets, commercial real estate transactions, contract disputes, business torts, and shareholder and corporate-governance issues. In 2025, Ryan was named the “Lawyer of the Year” in Nashville for real estate litigation by Best Lawyers in America®. Ryan’s practice includes antitrust litigation, in which he represents large corporate clients in courts around the country. Since February 2022, Ryan has served as a volunteer member of the Tennessee State Board of Education.
The Nashville Bar Foundation Fellows Program was established in 1991 as a way for the bar to honor its colleagues who have contributed significantly to the community. This devotion to service to the client and the public interest is one of the program’s hallmarks. Fellows are selected by their colleagues, and each “class” of Fellows is limited to approximately 2% of the Nashville bar.
