Alex Carver Assumes New Nashville Bar Association Leadership Role

Sherrard Roe Voigt & Harbison is pleased to share that Alex Carver has been named chair of the Nashville Bar Association’s Appellate Practice Committee. The committee monitors developments in the Tennessee appellate courts, makes recommendations on rules, practices, and procedures, and produces annual continuing legal education programming on appellate practice. It also fosters an environment for appellate practitioners to collaborate and improve their practices. Carver’s one-year term was effective January 1, 2023.

Focusing on complex civil litigation, Carver’s practice spans a range of subject areas, including commercial disputes, constitutional law, and statutory interpretation. He specializes in appellate work and has successfully represented clients in the U.S. Supreme Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit.
