Jaz Boon is a member of the firm’s litigation group, counseling clients on various business disputes and commercial matters, as well as environmental and health and safety compliance.
Prior to joining the firm, Jaz served as an Assistant General Counsel at Bridgestone Americas, Inc. where he provided legal advice and support for the environmental, health and safety, and sustainability needs of the business. He began his legal career at Waller Lansden Dortch & Davis, LLP, where he was a member of the firm’s trial and appellate practice group.
Jaz earned his J.D. from Belmont University College of Law and went on to clerk for the Honorable Richard H. Dinkins of the Tennessee Court of Appeals. He graduated with a degree in Biology from Lipscomb University.
He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Urban Green Lab, the Advisory Board for Belmont University College of Law, and as a member and Past Chair of the Environmental Law Section of the Tennessee Bar Association.
Jaz and his wife live in Nashville and have two children.
