Carrie Wintle Granger works in the firm’s trusts, estates and private wealth practice. She earned her law degree from Vanderbilt University Law School, where she was a member of the Order of the Coif and a Cheek Business Law Scholar. During her time there, she served as a legal writing teaching assistant for Professor Amy Enix and research assistant for Professor Jeffrey Schoenblum. While in law school, Carrie also gained valuable legal experience by working at the firm as a summer associate.

Prior to law school, Carrie worked at KPMG from 2019 through 2022 where she participated in engagements to audit PCAOB and AICPA client financials, transactions and internal controls and supervised the audit plan for quarterly and year-end engagements. Carrie received her Master of Accountancy from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management in 2018 and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting in 2017 from the University of South Dakota.

Carrie is the president of Money $heep, a non-profit organization focused on helping youth build a financial foundation, and is the author of two children’s books, Mr. Money $heep and Mr. Money $heep and the Financial Foes.
