Brettson Bauer is an attorney in the firm’s litigation group, counseling clients on various business disputes and commercial matters.
Brett joins the firm following a clerkship for the Honorable Charles E. Atchley Jr. of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee, where he gained invaluable insight into the trial process. Brett also participated in the firm’s 2019 and 2020 summer associate program.
While earning his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School, Brett served as articles editor and inaugural host of the Vanderbilt Law Review Off the Page podcast. With a passion for giving back to the legal community, he was the director of community development for the American Constitution Society and the treasurer and founding member of the Space Law Society. Before law school, Brett worked for a national advocacy group in Washington, D.C.
Brett graduated cum laude with a degree in Politics and Religion from Washington & Lee University where he received the John Warner Public Service Award and served as an S. Cullum Owings Jr. Fellow. An avid sports and music enthusiast, Brett also enjoys exploring the outdoors with his dog.
