Bill Harbison Named 2015 Nashvillian of the Year
Bill Harbison and Abby Rubenfeld of Rubenfeld Law Office have been named the 2015 Nashvillians of the Year by the Nashville Scene. Harbison is recognized for his work in the landmark Obergfell v. Hodges case. The case determined whether it was constitutional for states to ban same-sex marriages. “It is really energizing to work on something that is larger than money,” Harbison says. “This is what we went to law school for.”
