Attorney General Slatery Names Andrée Blumstein as Solicitor General
Tennessee Attorney General Herbert Slatery announced that Andrée Sophia Blumstein will join the office as solicitor general. Mrs. Blumstein will oversee appellate litigation in state and federal courts, review written opinions, and advise the attorney general. For the past 21 years, Mrs. Blumstein has been a partner at the Nashville firm of Sherrard Roe Voigt & Harbison where she concentrated on appellate litigation, health law, taxation, and antitrust.
